You Won’t Talk About Love

C A Roth-2002

Well I know what it’s like to share your soul
I was flying heaven bound with you
now I’m cramped and cold stuck inside and I almost died
when you said you were through with me
but you won’t talk about love anymore

well I know stinging ears can’t tend to hear
and crying eyes can’t analyze the truth

but if there was some way you could rise above
recall the past that’s part of me and you
but you won’t talk about love anymore

and I know he hurt you this broken child I hide
came from deep inside of me
and it tore me up to watch him hurt your pride
when you picked up the pieces of your heart
and left us here to slowly fall apart

I don’t know how I can show you that
I could be the man you knew before
talked till I’m blue tried to talk about me and you
but you won’t even hear me anymore
but you won’t talk about love anymore
